Augusta, GA – ASA 3D Tournament

Posted: May 5, 2016 in Competitions, Practice & Tips

I know it’s been a while since I posted. Sorry about that. I’ve traveled so much over the past few months, I decided to take a month off of blogging while I had a break in travel. Last weekend was the ASA 3D tournament in Augusta, GA. It was a beautiful spot and a lot of fun to see friends I’ve made from other tournaments and meet new ones. Taking second place to my friend Luke wasn’t bad either. 3D is a great switch up from indoor for the summer . . . until it gets really hot. Adding temperature, humidity and constant location and target changes to the list of variables in your shooting certainly keeps you on your toes in 3D tournaments.

In other news, I’ve been homeschooling the past three years and it’s given me the opportunity to blog much more often, but next year I’m going back to public school. Don’t worry, it’s not going to change my travel schedule for tournaments. My mom is all about sending in those educational excused absence forms. So I have decided to start doing videos. Below is my first shot at this.  Thanks for your patience while I get used to putting myself out there and not hiding behind words and getting them posted after I edit them.

Thank you to everyone who reads (and now watches) my blog. Family, friend or sponsor you are all vital in helping me make it to tournaments. Your encouragement and support mean a lot to me.
